This article first focuses on the world and explores the background of the emergence of global "root-seeking literature", that is, the origin of global "root-seeking" literature. By sorting out the development profile and core values of global "root-seeking" literature, it analyzes the relationship between China's "root-seeking" literature and other countries' "root-seeking" literature. Secondly, the article returns to the local area, not only reviewing the domestic background of the emergence of China's "root-seeking literature", but also exploring the theme of China's "root-seeking literature" from multiple angles. Specifically, it includes "root-seeking literature" that pursues the "roots" of life; "root-seeking literature" that explores the "roots" of Chinese culture; "root-seeking literature" that explores the "roots" of Chinese issues.
