The narrative poetry of the pre-Qin, Han, Wei and Six Dynasties is an important part of the history of Chinese poetry and has rich and colorful historical and cultural connotations. This book attempts to systematically sort out the narrative poetry of this period. The whole book determines the connotation of narrative poetry, analyzes the reasons for the emergence of narrative poetry, and the basic situation of narrative poetry in different stages such as Pre-Qin, Han Dynasty, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. Focusing on the internal logic of the development of narrative poetry in different periods, we conduct research on hotspots and focus issues, and describe and grasp the evolutionary trajectory of narrative poetry at this stage. And draw lessons from Western narrative theory to summarize the narrative poetry of the pre-Qin, Han, Wei and Six Dynasties from the perspective of narrative mode.
