Demetrius was an important scholar in the Hellenistic period. His poetics not only inherited the traditions of Plato and Aristotle, but also created and developed theories in areas such as correspondence, discourse, grammar, rhetoric, form, style, style, and writing, laying a theoretical foundation for the development of various disciplines thereafter. Through the investigation of the origin of Dmitry's poetics and its philosophical foundation, the material point and growth point of his poetics are highlighted; the investigation of his poetic system reveals the connection between literary form and aesthetic response, solving the contradiction of structuralist criticism that is good at discovering the inner order and pattern of the text but unable to explain the effect, and impression criticism that can introspect the intuitive effect but cannot establish the connection between the text structure and effect. It finds the possibility of the embodied combination of impression criticism and scientific criticism, perceptual effect and discourse form, and provides theoretical resources for poetic research.
