1. This book is based on the history of war and the fact that "contemporary war is in the process of rapid development and evolution." Based on the principles and laws of military theory, science and technology, social science and other fields, this book boldly looks forward and conducts prediction and research on future war patterns through in-depth investigation and careful argumentation. 2. The time concept of "future" studied and discussed in this book is limited to the time span of about 30 years to 2050. This time is generally also the time span for the mass construction of strategic weapon systems. 3. This book proposes that future warfare will be "high-precision warfare conducted in a full-dimensional battlefield space", referred to as "full-dimensional precision warfare". The concept of "full-dimensional warfare" covers the recognized battlefields today (land, sea, air, space, network, electricity) and new battlefield spaces that may appear in the future; the concept of "precision warfare" is because all parties involved in future wars will use high-precision weapons as their main weapons.
