Results of the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Project of the Ministry of Education. Blumenberg made a thorough study of Gnosticism in "Mythological Studies" and was deeply influenced by it. Gnostic dualism refers to the fact that there is no fixed and simple correspondence between the subject and the world. This opens up an unprecedented broad space for hermeneutics. Therefore, "meaning is greater than aesthetics." At the same time, the word "workonmyth" (German "Arbeitam Mythos") has two meanings: if it represents the creative behavior of a subject, we call it "myth creation," which is in line with the definition of poetics; if it focuses on the reader's acceptance behavior, we attribute it to the hermeneutic category of "mythology research." This article reconstructs the ideological system of the book with the idea of dualism, and strives to grasp Blumenberg's poetics of "myth creation" and hermeneutics of "myth research" as a whole.
