Lost Maternal Love

Lost Maternal Love

Short Fiction

Lemon Snow

11K0

In a previous life, my sister-in-law was diagnosed with fetal hydrocephalus during a prenatal check-up. I advised her to have good health and good parenting, but she hated me. After my niece was born, my sister-in-law blamed me for cursing her child into a fool. I spent all my money to treat my niece's illness, and I tried my best to train my niece to become a well-known talented woman. But my sister-in-law instigated my niece: "If it weren't for my mother's maternal love, you would have been killed by your aunt and the doctor." My niece covered me from my sleep, and my brother and sister-in-law hurriedly cremated me. Once again, I comforted my sister-in-law seriously: "No test is more accurate than a mother's own feeling. If you say the child is fine, then there must be no problem." Since her maternal love is so great, let me see how long she can persist without my efforts.
