This is a monograph on the study of Zheng Jian in the Book of Songs. The book systematically sorts out various aspects of Zheng's "Jian", including a description of Zheng Xuan himself, the academic and social background of Zheng's "Jian", and an introduction to relevant document versions. Among them, the content and characteristics of the preface to the Book of Songs, Mao's "Biography", Zheng's "Jian", and "Mao Shipu" are the most used and fully discussed, as well as the relationship between them. The author has made a relatively detailed analysis and summary of the relationship between Zheng's "Jian" and the modern "Three Family Poems", the exegesis regulations and principles of Zheng's "Jian", and the connotation of "Mao Shipu", which has high academic value.
