Chinese classical and traditional operas are my country's precious cultural heritage, among which Kun Opera, Peking Opera and other operas have been included in the list of "Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO. This book is a collection of the author's research articles on Chinese classical opera published in books, newspapers and magazines since 1965. Among them are the examination and elucidation of the origin, background, development and evolution of Chinese classical opera, and the examination and criticism of writers and works. Most of them are opinions published after painstaking research on some divergent opinions and unresolved issues in the academic world.
