This is my country's first monograph on the history of ancient Japanese literary theory written in Chinese. It covers the period from AD 721 to 1945 and is divided into three stages: ancient medieval times, modern times, and modern times. Each stage is divided into categories according to its order, focusing on the sorting, evaluation, and translation of representative Japanese literary theory writers and works of literary theory in each period. This book is intended to be used for teaching graduate students majoring in Comparative Literature and World Literature, which is part of the Chinese Language and Literature discipline. Therefore, the discussion is intended to be concise, not complex, and concise.

This is the first systematic and complete history of Japanese literary theory at home and abroad. The discussion period is from 712 to 2000, and is divided into four parts: ancient medieval times, modern times, modern times, and modern times. It is divided into categories in chronological order, focusing on sorting out and evaluating the contents of various representative Japanese literary commentators and their representative works. A chronology of the history of Japanese literary theory is attached at the back of the book. This book can be used as a learning textbook for undergraduates and graduate students majoring in literature in China and Japan, as well as a reference for teaching and researchers majoring in comparative literature.
