This manuscript is a phased research result of the National Social Science Fund general project "The Construction Process and Significance of (Historical Records) Literary Classics". "Historical Records" is a collection of pre-Qin literature, recording a history of more than 3,000 years from the legendary Huangdi era to the first year of Yuanshou, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. There is a lot of mysterious culture involved. This manuscript will use this as the research content and conduct in-depth exploration in three chapters. The first chapter is the study of the mysterious culture of life and burial sacrifices in "Historical Records", the second chapter is the study of the mysterious rituals in "Historical Records", and the third chapter is the study of other mysterious phenomena in "Historical Records". The mysterious culture was inherited from the previous year, and the ancient customs are still preserved among the people. The core of the study of mysterious culture is the study of people. The author's research will demonstrate human beings' knowledge and understanding of the world in ancient times and reflect the worldview and values ​​of people at that time.

"The Classic of Mountains and Seas" is a geographical work rich in mythology. The symbols of "gods" presented in the world of this text form the basis of its mythological quality. Therefore, exploring the categories of gods in "The Classic of Mountains and Seas" and their formation process, as well as the cultural and literary characteristics behind this god-making activity, is undoubtedly the only way to reveal the cultural and literary value of the book. Our research is mainly divided into three parts: the first is the "god" in "Shan Hai Jing" and its creation process. The second is the different mentality and methods of creating "gods" among the "gods" in "The Classic of Mountains and Seas". The third is the aesthetic pursuit of creating "gods" in "The Classic of Mountains and Seas". Analyze the formation process of the "god" symbol in "The Classic of Mountains and Seas", restore the living conditions of the ancestors, and put yourself in their shoes to reveal the formation process of the "god" symbol and the complicated reasons behind it. Discussing the god-making mentality of the author of "The Classic of Mountains and Seas" and the commonly used literary techniques for creating gods and the author's aesthetic pursuit from a literary perspective is not only the starting point of this book's research, but also reveals the potential and inherent value of "The Classic of Mountains and Seas" itself.

This book selects five typical characters, Xiang Yu, Liu Bang, Xiao He, Zhang Liang, and Han Xin, who have been reconstructed many times in the dramas of the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, for research, and analyzes them from three aspects: the reasons for the reconstruction of the characters in the Chu-Han War, the reconstruction process of the characters in the Chu-Han War and its influencing factors, and the significance of the reconstruction of the dramas of the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties to "Historical Records" and Chinese literature.
