**"Mortal Path Opens up Immortality"** tells the story of an ordinary boy named Li Fan who was born with the ability to control "mortal energy" in the Dayu Dynasty where there was no immortality or magic. From protecting his family to being forced to resist, he finally embarked on the first path to immortality as a mortal in this world without immortals. Li Fan was originally an ordinary young man from Kaoshan Village. He depended on his mother for life, but his father had long been forcibly conscripted into the army and there was no news. He unexpectedly discovered that he could control a special force called "Mortal Qi", which could nourish all things and condense Qi into blades. However, because of the exposure of this power, his mother died tragically under the knife of an official. Li Fan, who avenged his mother, went to the county government alone, but was accidentally involved in the prime minister's palace's shocking conspiracy to plunder people's wealth and manipulate military conscription. He even learned that his father's disappearance was not accidental. In this world where there is no immortal law to follow and no immortal path to follow, Li Fan, filled with hatred and ignorant knowledge of the immortal way, avoids the pursuit of the court forces while exploring the origin of mortal energy. As a mortal, he broke through the desperate situation and opened the way in the chaos. Finally, he transformed the "mortal energy" into a real immortal method, becoming the first immortal in the world, and also opened a path to transcendence for the mortals in the world.
