This is a collection of five novellas. Among them, "Siping Diao" describes the living conditions of a group of middle-class people who have been separated from their relatives due to the separation of the straits since the 1960s, as well as the painful mental trauma they suffered. In the last few articles of this collection, the author uses his own life resources as material to extensively describe the life experiences and spiritual insights of the educated youth from Beijing who joined the peasants in the countryside after joining the queue.
