Xie Lingyun was born in the 10th year of Taiyuan (385) of Emperor Xiaowu of the Eastern Jin Dynasty and died in the 10th year of Yuanjia (433) of Emperor Wen of the Southern Dynasty. He was the originator of the landscape poetry school. He studied Buddhism intensively and made important achievements. His thoughts ran through Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. It had a huge and far-reaching impact on the development of later literature. This book is divided into two parts.
