From the perspective of Chinese classical poetry, this book conducts a comprehensive and systematic investigation and research on the Huai'an Poetry Society, which created old-style poetry in the Yan'an period. It is the first monograph on the Huai'an Poetry Society in the academic world. On the basis of defining the concept of Huai'an poetry, this book conducts a more detailed analysis of the Huai'an Poetry Society's research status, social background and cultural context, member composition and activity history, poetic theory claims and creative achievements, status influence and success and failure. It also focuses on the creative achievements of two Huai'an poets, Li Mu'an and Xie Juezai, and three categories of famous Huai'an poems, including "Travel to Nanniwan", "Ode to Yan'an" and "Red Cloud Song". In short, the Huai'an Poetry Society has a relatively special literary status in the history of literature and art in Yan'an, and also played a unique historical role in the political stage of the Yan'an period.
