When I was still a kid who could be extremely happy just by eating candy, I always thought, when will I grow up? Or I want to do whatever I want when I grow up - but true growth comes much faster than you think. Maybe it's just giving up quietly when you can't get something you want. Maybe it's just thinking back one night late at night that it's been a long time since I've truly laughed, how long it's been since I've cried completely, I don't have to hold back my voice, I don't have to care about other people's eyes, or I've begun to realize that it's a little difficult to just live.
