Observing the Earth from a thousand light-years away, you can see what the Earth looked like a thousand years ago. Based on this, mankind invented a time machine and peered into the bloody history that was blurred and forgotten. Old hatreds lead to new wars, and only by mastering history can we write the future. Beams of light fell from the sky, cities instantly evaporated, tsunamis flooded ports, and radiation withered the earth. The survivors hid deep underground and spent countless centuries. There are no stars here, but people are not alone, because deep in the universe, a group of observers are silently recording everything.
