"A History of American Poetry" is a monograph on the study of American poetry prepared for the "History of American Poetry" (multi-volume), a major national social science project cultivated by Beijing Union University. The content includes five parts: "Early American Puritan Poetry," "American Romantic Poetry," "American Modernist Poetry," "American Postmodernist Poetry," and "Contemporary American Poetry." Each part is an independent chapter, with its own Important poets and their representative poetic works in each historical period are the focus of research and discussion.
