This book is one of the sub-topics of the first batch of major commissioned projects of the National Social Science Fund in 2010, "History of Ancient Northeastern Countries." The Hou Jin Dynasty was the last local political power in the history of Northeast China. It was founded by the Jurchen-Manchuria. It had distinctive national characteristics, complete systems, and reached a high level of development. Based on the research results of previous generations, this book adopts the writing style of general history, classics, biographies, examination of differences, charts, and chronology of major events. It comprehensively and systematically expounds the history of the founding period of the Qing Dynasty for a total of 61 years from Nurhachi's founding of the army in 1583 to the entry of Qing troops in 1644. The book strives to have comprehensive historical materials, clear viewpoints, gather the strengths of various scholars, explain profound things in simple terms, be full of new ideas, and truly and accurately reflect the historical features of Hou Jin Dynasty.
