Monks in the world have different purposes for practicing. Some people pursue superhuman strength and power; some seek to control their own destiny; others pursue the essence of Tao and explore the mysteries of heaven and earth; and some even simply enjoy the process of cultivation and practice for the sake of cultivation... And so on. However, almost all monks have more or less the same purpose, which is to practice for immortality. Observing the way of heaven, adhering to the way of heaven, being in harmony with the truth, and living forever are called heavenly beings.
