It tells the story of the little orphan girl who was taken in by the Zhao family from a wandering street orphan and became a maid of the Zhao family. After the founding of New China, the Zhao family fled, and the little orphan girl resolutely took on the important task of raising Zhao Jiabao (only 3 years old), a descendant of the Zhao family, even though it was difficult for her to survive. The little orphan girl encountered countless difficulties in the process of raising Zhao Jiabao. However, with the enthusiastic help of everyone and tenacious perseverance, Zhao Jiabao was brought up; the middle-aged orphan girl was not able to live a comfortable life as she wished.
