This book is based on an outline and analysis of the construction and development of different theoretical criticism topics of Ci, and strives to abandon the practice of using "narratives by famous writers" to obscure or replace the multi-dimensional development and specific processes of Ci theoretical criticism. It focuses on examining links such as "acceptance", "evolution", "innovation" and "development", and organically integrates them into a system, seeking to "unify" ancient and modern literary theories, and explore "changes" in traditional Ci studies, with a view to supplementing a shortcoming in the study of Ci during the Republic of China.
