The book is divided into two series. The first volume is prose. It is roughly divided into three parts: essays about daily life, prefaces and comments for friends' works, and several short essays from when I was in college. They are basically sorted by writing time. The second series is a long documentary "The Past Is Like Smoke". As I wrote in the "Inscription" at the beginning of the chapter, I am not writing a personal autobiography. I want to use most of my life as a guide and what I have seen, heard, felt and understood as a weft to make the article as large as possible and as informative as possible.
