In the past, King Wen of Zhao asked Zhuangzi about swords. Zhuangzi replied: There are three swords. One is the sword of the emperor, the second is the sword of the princes, and the third is the sword of the common people. The sword of the emperor is made from the nine states and the world. The sword of the princes is made from the hundreds of officials and sages. The sword of the common people is the sword that kills and bleeds. The sword is used for fighting in the city. These are the three swords. Although we are common people, why do we only hold the swords of common people? Why don't we use the swords in our hands to forge the swords of princes or even the emperor's sword?
