Swift is a famous modern British writer of satirical novels and political essays, and "Gulliver's Travels" is his most popular work. However, for a long time, this work has only been regarded as a fantasy work, and its true value has not been fully recognized and understood. This book is an interpretation of the novel to reveal the author's true intentions and the true meaning of the novel. The interpretation of "Gulliver's Travels" cannot be separated from the original context in which it was born - the newly established modern British country and the ancient and modern disputes related to it. This book believes that "Gulliver's Travels" is the product of debates between ancient and modern times, and is also one of the earliest works that reflects on the modern country.

In order to integrate the Balkans into the Western strategic system, NATO, led by the United States, launched a large-scale air strike war against Yugoslavia code-named "Alliance Force" that lasted 78 days. In the first phase of the campaign, NATO B-52, F-117, and B-2 bombers launched 90 large-scale attacks on 70 targets of the Yugoslav Army, with an average of 50 to 70 sorties per day, destroying 50% of Yugoslavia's air defense capabilities; in the second phase, NATO dispatched nearly 300 to 600 sorties every day, attacking various targets including the Presidential Palace of Yugoslavia, the headquarters of the Serbian Army and Internal Affairs Forces, radio stations, television stations, railways and road bridges. NATO suffered zero combat casualties, and Yugoslavia suffered heavy losses. Throughout the entire air strike, NATO dispatched 38,000 aircraft and dropped and launched approximately 23,000 bombs and missiles, of which precision-guided weapons accounted for 35%. It is a typical aviation and missile battle, an "asymmetric battle" between high technology and medium and low technology.
