As a woman, Lin Chenqing was not willing to be constrained by the old custom that "a woman's lack of talent is a virtue", so she went to the exam alone, passed all the tests and became the third female number one scholar in the Qi Dynasty, and later became the Minister of the Ministry of Personnel. During her tenure, she worked diligently and loved the people, strictly investigated corrupt officials, reduced excessive taxes and miscellaneous taxes, and won the hearts of the people. She also pushed for the New Deal for Women, established more female schools, and selected female officials.
