In 2010, "Critical Biography of China's Flood Control Epic", planned by Yang Qinhuan and edited by He Jianming and Cheng Xianzhang, was published by Writers Publishing House. The critical biography brought together the flood control works of nearly a hundred well-known writers including Li Cunbao, He Jianming, Jiang Zilong, Xu Kun, Zhang Wei, and Ye Yanbin. Chinese water conservancy experts spoke highly of the participation of hundreds of writers in the creation of the history of water conservancy. They believe that "The Epic of Chinese Water Conservancy (Set of Volumes 1 and 2)" fills a gap in the history of China's water conservancy and has high historical and documentary value.
