The 1980s to 2010s were 30 years of rapid growth and development for children's literature in China. During this period, children's literature became richer and more mature in content and form, and a huge conceptual change occurred in creation. This book's investigation of childhood narratives in children's literature is placed in the historical and cultural context of Chinese society from the 1980s to the 2010s. It takes the different development stages of childhood narratives in children's literature as clues, focuses on the spiritual vision of writers at different stages and the construction of children's subjects and the construction of literary dialogue relationships, and examines it from the perspectives of history, culture and aesthetics. He examines the creation of Chinese children's literature in four periods: the early 1980s, the mid-to-late 1980s, the 1990s, and the beginning of the new century to the present. It presents the differences in childhood narratives in children's literature in different periods, analyzes the impact of different discourses on writers' construction of children's subjects, and looks for clues and trajectories of the changes in dialogue relationships in children's literature in different periods.
