This book first integrates factors such as creative psychology, theme and subject matter trends, and artistic achievements, and divides Chen Yuyi's poetry creation into four stages: the inheritance period, the transformation period, the peak period, and the decline period, and describes in detail the development and evolution of Chen Yuyi's poetry creation. Then it analyzes the artistic characteristics of Chen Yuyi's post-Nandu poems that established his position in the history of poetry, highlighting his poetic creation achievements and artistic personality. On this basis, it analyzes the relationship between Chen Yuyi and the Jiangxi Poetry School, which has been debated by commentators since the late Southern Song Dynasty, refutes the fallacy of classifying Chen Yuyi as a Jiangxi Poetry School, and gives a factual evaluation of Chen Yuyi's status and role in the poetry world at the turn of the Song Dynasty.
