"A Wrinkle in Time" is a review of life written by an educator in the year when he knew his destiny. The whole book uses "folds" as a metaphor to slowly unfold the folded time. The author's growth is rooted in an ordinary peasant family. Since the first grade of elementary school, he has been herding cattle, tending fish ponds, transplanting rice and harvesting rice, picking grass and digging fields... The days of crawling and rolling in the dirt have cultivated his hard-working character. His path to school was also full of twists and turns: he was refused admission because he was "too short," faced with the reform of the academic system, encountered policy changes, and failed the college entrance examination. But with his unyielding determination, he was finally admitted to university and gloriously joined the Communist Party of China in his sophomore year. Since joining the education industry in 1997, the author has worked in seven units, growing from an ordinary teacher to a vice principal and principal, then to the Education Bureau, and then to a vocational secondary school for exploration and experimentation. In the past thirty years, his career footprint has been solid and firm. Now, he chooses to record those original life fragments one by one - the roads he has traveled, the people he has met, and the things he has experienced. They are not only an affectionate review of his half-life experience, but also reflect the common emotions and memories of a generation.
