The image of the city in literary works is an important part of the urban cultural spirit and an important resource that forms people's urban cultural experience. The city images of Lanzhou in novels, essays, and poems have very different aesthetic qualities, but also have the same spiritual appeal. This book shows the lineup of writers who wrote about Lanzhou's urban culture, sorted out the artistic expression of Lanzhou's urban cultural memory in novels, essays, and poems, interpreted many writers' personalized urban aesthetic concepts, and also clarified the positive role of literary works in the cohesion of urban cultural spirit. This is the first academic work that specifically explores the relationship between Lanzhou's urban cultural memory and literary writing.
