"Returning Home on Paper" is a collection of poems written by the author who left his hometown for nearly 20 years and traveled to various places in Guangdong. It mainly records the inner life of a farmer who was engaged in construction, porter, factory worker, and street vendor. After being tempered by the bumpy, complex, and desolate experience at the bottom, a very special language style that is smart and sharp, with one chant and three sighs has gradually formed. The author uses this sometimes broken and abrupt language, sometimes sad and long, to speak for the vast number of fellow travelers, and also shows the modern situation of people under the process of industrialization sweeping the world.
