This book takes the study of Chinese mythology in the English-speaking world as its object, and diachronically introduces and discusses the academic achievements of representative scholars. By sorting out and discussing the research characteristics, research contents, characteristic scholars and their representative results in different periods, it attempts to uncover the intricate academic world of Chinese mythology research in the English-speaking world. It also attempts to conduct comparative analysis based on relevant domestic research, so as to provide an overall introduction and study of the overseas research on Chinese mythology. This article attempts to initially explore the in-depth thinking and exploration of Chinese mythology as the carrier of Chinese civilization by scholars from different civilizations, hoping to provide some reference and inspiration for the broadening of domestic research methods.
