During the Mid-Tang Dynasty, the Six Gates, as the general name for the three law divisions, established a secret organization to select talented young people and train them from an early age to become people who specialized in serving the emperor, called Eagle Dogs. One of them is Yinan, the chief minister of Zhi'an. Because he was investigating a murder case in the palace, he met Gu Jiuxing, the daughter of the county magistrate.
