In the far north, there is a land forgotten by ancient legends called Iris. The four seasons are distinct here, the mountains and rivers are magnificent, but there are few people. The residents of Iris have passed down an ancient prophecy from generation to generation: When cracks appear in the stars in the night sky, the gears of destiny will be restarted and the balance of the world will be disrupted. The protagonist of the story is a young man named Lin Yi. He lives in Windwhisper, a border town in Iris. This is a peaceful and ancient place. Most of the residents in the town are fishermen and hunters, living a simple and ordinary life. Lin Yi's father is the only blacksmith in the town, and his mother helps in the town's tavern. Lin Yi has been full of endless curiosity about the starry sky since he was a child. He often climbs the hills outside the town alone at night and looks up at the starry night sky.
