This book is the first book in the "Sorturing History" book series. It sorts out a fragment of history, opens the closet of history, and tells the story of China's five thousand years of long culture from multiple perspectives: politics, economy, society, aesthetics, and art. The book starts with the details and is divided into two parts: canon and fashion. It tells the essence and evolution of ancient Chinese costumes through five chapters: Emperor Mianfu, Fengguanxiapei, Officials' Replenishment Clothing, Tang Women's Clothing, and Modern Cheongsam.
