Cosmic-level antimemetic entities erode human civilization and systematically delete the understanding of physical laws. In order to resist extinction, mankind is forced to adopt a double-edged sword strategy: weaponizing cultural memes and launching a "reverse infection war", which leads to the collapse of local physical laws of space and time ("rift"); at the same time, the "Nirvana Project" is implemented to permanently delete the elite "watchers"' understanding of the concept of death, and to create an absolutely rational but dehumanized living fortress. When a memetic weapon accidentally tears apart the orbit of Jupiter and triggers a world-destroying "rift", the watcher Li Zhe, stripped of his humanity, performs the ultimate mission with pure logic - driving the spacecraft into the core of the rift, at the cost of self-annihilation, overwriting the driving logic of the antimemetic entity and closing the rift. Civilization has survived, but the solar system has left scars of law, society has fallen into ethical ruins, and the door to the temple of science and technology has been quietly locked by the fear of self-imprisonment. The price of survival is physical scars and the winter of the soul.
