The Star Sea Creator Group's external claim of "fighting void annihilation and cultivating genetic weapons" is a lie at its root. All trial venues, all rules, and all seemingly "destined" fates are multi-layered cages carefully woven by the group in order to plunder the free will of cosmic civilization and create absolutely controllable interstellar hegemony. The protagonist's rebirth, resistance, and even the pursuit of "freedom" have all been included in the presupposition of the scam - and all reversals are the process of Lin Chen tearing apart the lies layer by layer, jumping out of the nested cage, and finally truly controlling his own destiny.
