"Guangming Cinema" is a public welfare project initiated by Communication University of China. A group of teacher and student volunteers have used their professional expertise to build a cultural blind path to the soul by producing and promoting barrier-free films. The characteristics of the project are: to develop barrier-free movies at professional standards that can be used repeatedly for a long time and be disseminated and promoted in a diversified manner, achieving nationwide screening coverage; and to develop an integrated player for Walkman movies, allowing the visually impaired to enjoy movies more conveniently and freely. In three years, the team produced 175 barrier-free films, which were particularly popular with the visually impaired community. With the support of the National Disabled Persons' Federation, the Provincial Disabled Persons' Federation and blind associations at all levels, a nationwide promotion model has been established. The project promotes the resolution of the copyright of visually impaired cultural products and helps the visually impaired achieve equality, synchronization and shared cultural equality. This book mainly tells the story of a team of teachers and students taking actions to build a "cultural blind road" to promote social progress and civilization, and to embody the historical mission and responsibility of young people in the new era.
