Card Game Life
Literature牌戏人生
Fu Weici
Life is like a card game. The cards you are dealt represent determinism, but how you play the cards in your hand represents free will. This book contains dozens of essays and miscellaneous notes by the author. These articles record the extraordinary steps in the life of our famous translator. In particular, this update adds the author's experiences and feelings in the last two years of the Anti-Japanese War as well as two other reminiscences: "Escape" has been completed, and "My Last Two Years in the Anti-Japanese War", "Past Events - Recalling Sun Yong", "The Big Buddha in the Heart" and other chapters have been added. It can better highlight the author's experience in the five aspects of creation, translation, travel, collection, and photography. What is consistent is his "arbitrary" life philosophy of "card play life".

Big Buddha in My Heart
Literature心中的大佛
Fu Weici
"The Big Buddha in the Heart" is a collection of essays by Fu Weici, a famous educator, translator and coin collector in my country. In the book, Fu Weici reminisced about the past, reviewing his youthful academic career during the Anti-Japanese War and his translation work and old friends in the early days of the founding of New China; he described his experience in translation and his understanding of the translated works and the original authors; he also recalled the scenery and various people he encountered during his travels around the world. He looks back at his extraordinary life with gentle and delicate writing, which can be said to be Fu Weici's reflections on life: he can handle things freely, advance and retreat appropriately, have order in strength and weakness, and become Zen when walking.
