"Big Data and Chinese History Research" is co-sponsored by the Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences and the School of History and Culture of Central China Normal University. Since 2013, Central China Normal University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology have begun to cooperate in big data history research and talent training. In terms of professional curriculum, the big data history major has opened many distinctive professional courses. Among them, the "Big Data and Chinese History" lecture series is co-organized by the Institute for Advanced Study and the School of History and Culture. Senior professors and emerging young scholars with expertise in quantitative historical research and digital humanities research are invited to give special lectures. This book is a collection of some scholars' research results and speeches.
