The book starts with bronze inscriptions and combines it with relevant social science theories to discuss the issue of Sino-Yi relations during the two-week period. In chronological order, the characteristics and formation mechanism of ethnic relations between Huaxia and Yidi in the Western Zhou Dynasty, Spring and Autumn Period, and Warring States Period were discussed respectively, and it was pointed out that geographical and climatic factors were one of the internal driving forces for the evolution of Huaxia-Yi ethnic relations. This book sorts out the characteristics of the development and growth of the Chinese ethnic group in the pre-Qin period and the early foreign concepts of the Chinese.
