This book tells the story of the dangers and hardships that early leaders of the Communist Party of China, including Chen Duxiu, Li Dazhao, Qu Qiubai, Zhang Tailei, Zhou Enlai, Ren Bishi, Li Lisan, Luo Zhanglong, and Deng Yingchao, encountered when traveling on the China-Eastern Railway. Many little-known past events were revealed by many red descendants. These red stories were kept secret back then, and are rarely known today. In order to explore this important revolutionary historical subject, the author spent seven years conducting interviews, traveling to more than 20 provinces and cities, and interviewing more than 100 people.
