The spirit of Yale University is well reflected in the school emblem, "Light and Truth". After more than 300 years of ups and downs, these words are still shining brightly. In the 1960s, Bruce, the then president of Yale University, once said, "Only when the school has full autonomy and every teacher and scholar has the freedom to research, will the entire society have close freedom and equality." Kronman, former dean of Yale Law School, said: "The role of law is to create a better world. People who study law do not simply live a better life for themselves, but to make the whole society better!"
