It is recorded in Buddhist scriptures that there are five kinds of eyes in this world: heavenly eye, wisdom eye, Dharma eye, Buddha eye, and physical eye. The eyes of the flesh cannot differentiate between light and darkness, see shadows but not darkness. What the eyes see is not the reality of things, but my eyes are the foundation of visible things, because my eyes can see ghosts!
