Nie Gannu, a native of Beijing, Hubei Province, is a famous poet, writer, editor, and classical literature researcher in my country. He once used the pen names Erye, Erya, Xiao Jindu, etc. In the history of modern Chinese essays, after Lu Xun and Qu Qiubai, he is a master of combat essays who has made outstanding achievements in essay creation and has great influence. His poems are novel yet charming, humorous and full of bitterness, and are called "unique Sanyi Shengti". This book selects more than 100 ancient poems by Nie Gannu, and annotates each poem. It also introduces the source and creative background of the poems, so that readers can have a deeper understanding of these poems, and at the same time, they can also understand the author of the poems and the era in which he lived through these works.
