This book is a blank-filling and innovative work on the historical research of Fuyu, an ancient ethnic group in Northeast my country. In terms of historical materials, in addition to comprehensively occupying and utilizing handed down documents and historical materials, we also make full use of inscriptions and archaeological materials; in terms of methods, in addition to historical research, we also draw on theoretical methods from archaeology, cultural anthropology, ethnology, and sociology. This book conducts in-depth discussions on the rise of Fuyu, the founding process of the country, its relationship with the Han Dynasty, the characteristics of the political structure, and the impact of its demise on the historical development process of the region. It has deepened the understanding of related issues, especially on issues such as the family lineage and origin of Buyeo, the origin of the country, the jurisdiction of Xuantu County in the Western Han Dynasty, the clan affiliation of Xichagou Cemetery, the characteristics of Buyeo's political structure, the local control system, the decline and fall of Goguryeo and Buyeo, and the memory of Buyeo's ancestors in Goguryeo and Baekje. New understandings that are different from those of the predecessors have been obtained.
