Professor Wang Jiguang has been engaged in teaching and scientific research for more than 40 years. The School of History and Culture of Northwest University for Nationalities plans to compile two types of collections: "A Self-Selected Collection of Academic Papers in Celebration of Professor Wang Jiguang's 70th Birthday" and "A Collection of Academic Papers in Celebration of Professor Wang Jiguang's 70th Birthday". Professor Wang Jiguang has extensive knowledge, rigorous scholarship, courage in exploration, and diligent writing. Since 1982, a total of 11 academic books and more than 100 papers have been published. This book is a self-selected collection of his papers, selected from the academic papers he has taught for more than 50 years, and listed in chapters.

Wang Jiguang, male, Han nationality, native of Lintao, Gansu Province, was born in Xinjiang in 1946. He is currently a professor at the School of History and Culture at Northwest University for Nationalities and leader of the tutor group for postgraduate students specializing in history. Since 1982, a total of 11 academic books and more than 100 papers have been published. Undertaken and completed a number of research projects. "Tribal Chronicles of Amdo Tibetan Areas", "Recruitment Examination of Sino-Tibetan Affairs in the Ming Dynasty", and "History of the Nationalities in Ancient Northern China" have been studied for many years. There are 30 monographs and papers on Tibetan studies. Among them, [Wanli] "Xining Wei Zhi" was compiled from "Tianxia County Li Bing Shu", which is the earliest local chronicle in Qinghai. It compiles volume analysis chapters, reviews and annotations; "Yong Research on Chieftain Family Genealogy in Amdo Tibetan Area" collates and collates the four ethnic minority family genealogies searched and publishes it for the first time. It has provided new information for the study of the history of the Amdo Tibetan area. This book is a collection of major articles written by Professor Wang Jiguang and his students.
