This book is a commemorative collection of essays to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the ACM class of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2002-2012), with manuscripts provided by students and main teachers of the tenth ACM class. The book is divided into eight chapters. The opening chapter is a summary of the 10 years of the ACM class by the founder, Professor Yu Yong; the teaching chapter is a lengthy account of the teaching experiences of several teachers; the Spring Breeze and Rain chapter is where students recall the teacher's teachings; the Green Years chapter is a narration of past events in the class; and the mental journey chapter is a description of The trajectory of the students' gradual maturity; the "Ding Dong Voices" chapter is the inner feelings of the students; the "First Emerging Talents" chapter tells about the internship experience of the 2002 and 2003 ACM students at Microsoft Research Asia; and the "Laughing and Talking" chapter contains the unique creations of the ACM class students.

This book is a compilation of brilliant, simple, passionate, and touching stories that happened to alumni in the past twenty years on the occasion of the 20th anniversary celebration of the establishment of the ACM class of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. ACM alumni have repeatedly published papers at top academic conferences, held teaching positions at the world's top universities, rode the wave of technological entrepreneurship, and contributed their energy to many front and backstage positions. Some of these achievements transcend national boundaries, some transcend the scope of academic fields, some exceed our past expectations for education, and perhaps some also transcend our dreams for the future. Eventually we transcend our past selves. This book is compiled under the name of "Beyond" to leave a mark on this wonderful time!
