Tianjin literature during the Anti-Japanese War is not only a basic component of literature in China's occupied areas, but also an indispensable and unavoidable part of the study of Tianjin literature. This book strives to explore the living conditions and mental state of Tianjin writers during the Anti-Japanese War, and strives to show the true appearance and reality of their creations. Through the compilation and excavation of historical materials, it was found that during the Anti-Japanese War period, which was the "all-black era of literature", Tianjin writers not only "devote themselves" or "lived" to literature, used literature to "express" personal emotions, or made a living from literature, but also made considerable achievements in some aspects. While inheriting the national literary tradition and preserving the modern literary context, they also promoted the development of literature.
