The Peking University History Forum, hosted by the Department of History of Peking University and hosted by the Graduate Student Association and Student Union of the Department of History of Peking University, is an important platform for the history majors of Peking University and its sister universities to display the latest research results and exchange academic experiences. Since its establishment in 2003, it has formed a certain influence and appeal in the academic community. On March 30, 2013, the 9th Peking University History Forum was held in Yanyuan, with the theme of "Educating the Past to Debate the Present and Ming Dynasty, Tracing the Origin and Seeking Truth to Discuss the Spring and Autumn Period." This volume of "History of Yanyuan" is a collection of the best 16 papers selected from this forum.
